Rituals:

________________

There are three rituals planned for Merry Meet.
Each one ties into the other.

Opening Ritual
Thursday after Leadership Institute and before dinner.

The Opening Ritual looks at the entire cycle of life from the planting of seeds, to the young wheat and on through the Harvest. It speaks of the past, the present and the future and of the fire with us that lights the way. Participants will have the opportunity to join in working on making the communal forest grow. Come join us as we open this event, feast on the harvest with us, enjoy the drumming and get something pretty and useful to take home.

Participants will also get to take something home with them. You can ask but we will not tell you what. Join us; help us make the forest grow.

The Closing ritual we will gather to offer thanks, ask for blessings for all to have a safe trip home, and acknowledge the hard work done during Grand Council. We will be thanking and acknowledging the previous board for their hard work and greeting the new board.
